For many models, joining Victoria’s Secret model clan is the highest point to strive and work for. The annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show is one of the most iconic jobs a model can land. it is definitely the one ultimate. With almost seven million viewers in its event year after year, the show would not stop generating so much buzz.
Last year 51 top models made the final cut for the show, of which just 14 were designated “Victoria’s Secret Angels” brand ambassadors who travel the world promoting Victoria’s Secret year-round.

The 20-year-old model has an impressive 81 million Instagram followers and first took to Victoria’s Secret runway in 2015. She is also a brand ambassador for Estée Lauder.

21-year old Gigi walked her first Victoria’s Secret show in 2015 and was recently voted runner-up Model of the Year 2016 by models.com readers.
- Liu Wen: $7 million (£5.4 million)
Chinese-born Liu Wen has a net worth of $35 million (£27 million), according to the Daily Mail.
The 28-year old became the first Asian model to take to the Angels runway in 2009. She is also one of only three non-white models that walked in the 2016 VS show.
- Alessandra Ambrosio: $5 million (£4 million).

LA-born Lily Aldridge walked her first Victoria’s Secret show in 2009 and became an Angel the following year. The 30-year old’s favourite place in the world is her hometown of Nashville, Tennessee, according to her VS profile. Her Instagram has 5.1 million followers.
- Jasmines Tookes: $4 million (£3 million).
Californian Jasmine Tookes is another one of the only three non-white models Victoria’s Secret models to make Forbes’ highest-earning list in 2016.
The 25-year-old gained her wings in 2015, after first walking Victoria’s Secret show in 2012.
- Taylor Hill: $4 million (£3 million)
Taylor Hill, the 21-year old “girl next door from Colorado” and Vogue cover star, became the face of Topshop’s AW16 campaign in July 2016.
Hill walked her first VS show in 2014 and became an Angel a year later.
